Some comments from our past interns:

Chanelle Beets:
“I have been part of the internship programme throughout my four years of study. It has provided me with a wonderful hands-on experience. Had I not been an intern, I would not have felt as prepared and confident to effectively teach a class of my own.”

Nicola Commons:
“My two year internship at Highbury has not only given me amazing practical experience but it has enabled me with the skills and ability to walk into a classroom with confidence. The skills I have acquired will hold me in good stead and ensure that I have a fulfilling teaching career.”

Julie Pollock:
“As an intern at Highbury, it was the most amazing two years of my teaching studies. It made me not only realise what a rewarding job that we as educators have, but Highbury gave me the knowledge and skills to teach with love, passion and understanding. Thank you, Highbury, for giving me the opportunity to enrich the young minds of children! I am truly blessed to have been here for two years and am even more blessed to be back again.”
